I heard a nightowl today,at 2 PM! I don't know what it is doing awake at this time of day. Yesterday we had a 45-minutes blackout around 9 pm,when there's still a little daylight. Combined with electric lights of the city,it's not yet the times for owls.But since it was dark because of thue blackout,maybe their rhythm changed a bit.
I put water in a small cup on my balcony every day,I saw a sparrow or two drinking it,but maybe others drink it too. I hope they do. It's been a hell of a last week. Litterally. It' s been a 100 degrees. I've heard birds last couple of days, but I haven't seen many. A few pigeons, blackbirds, sparrows. I hear jays, but don't see them. They must be in tue shades.
